Journal / teany

ok,

lots of people have been asking about what’s going on with teany.
teany is open and functioning, although my involvement has changed a bit.
i’ll still be hanging out at teany, and still offering my opinion on certain things about teany’s operations, but from here on in teany will essentially be kelly’s restaurant.
i’m trying to simplify things in my life, and i realized that teany is at it’s best when it’s being run by it’s mom, kelly.
so if you come to teany you’ll still probably see me there, but in a more relaxed and less official capacity.
thanks,
moby

Journal / teany

i have a birth to announce…
today, tuesday april 19th, a new teany was born, weighing roughly 29,000 pounds and residing on prince street between mulberry and lafayette.

the proud parents: kelly, mcnally-robinson booksellers, and me, moby, are happy to report that the new-born is in good health and is happy and contented.

ok, to cut to the chase and dispense with the frivolity: we opened a new teany in conjunction with a wonderful new bookstore(mcnally-robinson) on prince street between mulberry and lafayette here in lower manhattan.

i was just there having lunch, and the windows were open to the street and it has this beautiful view of old st. patricks cathedral and it’s great, if i do say so myself.

see you soon,
moby
