News / Music For Life: Bid for framed Moby drawings to help Music For Life Charity

From the 19th to 24th December Studio Brussel, the youth radio station of the Flemish public broadcasting organisation (VRT) will be presenting the fourth edition of Music For Life, a campaign to raise both awareness and funds for a good cause. Music For Life is part of the international Serious Request-campaign which this year wages battle against malaria.

Although malaria kills more than a million people each year it is relatively easy to prevent. Furthermore, through complications, another million people die of the consequences of the disease each year.

The basic concept of Music For Life remains unchanged: a six-day radio marathon broadcast from a mobile studio – Het Glazen Huis (The Glass House) – in which listeners launch all kinds of activities to raise money and pay to hear their favourite record on Studio Brussel. The money that is collected will go to the good cause.

As part of the Music For Life campaign, Studio Brussel organizes auctions with exclusive goodies, offered by artists who support the campaign. This year, Moby offered two drawings from a series he created in the run up to the release of Wait For Me.
