Moby has been named the winner of the Outstanding Contribution To American Dance Music Award. He will be going to Miami for the DanceStar Awards 2004 to collect the award.

Outstanding Contribution To Dance Music is the most significant award to be presented at the DanceStar USA Awards, and the entire show on March 9 in Miami will build up to the presentation.
In the twenty years he has been making electronic music, he has been at the forefront of this genre and he’s probably done more for its global development than any other artist worldwide. We’re delighted Moby will attend to DanceStar to receive this accolade and our only headache now is who is worthy enough of presenting it to him.””
