it’s happened again, i’ve run out of things to say.
what’s wrong with me?
has my brain finally given up on me?
you know what i like about the song ‘war pigs’ by black sabbath? well, apart from it being a cool song, i like the fact that ozzy rhymes ‘masses’ with ‘masses’. i can’t think of too many songs wherein a word is rhymed with itself.
maybe we should re-write the classics and include some same-word rhymes.
‘hello, i love you won’t you tell me your name?
hello, i love you let me jump in your name.’
‘a mulatto, an albino, a mosquito, my mosquito’
‘oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave, o’er the land of the free, and the home of the wave’.
see, that last one would work terriffically in sports arena’s where they do the wave.
do they stool do the wave?
do people still yell ‘ooh! ooh! ooh!’ when those daytime talk shows get exciting?
do people still say ‘it’s all good’?
do they still have 2 simpsons re-runs every day?
i’m full of questions.
oh, i have to tell you about the dumbest thing that i heard during the blackout…
i was listening to the radio to see what was going on and a radio dj said, ‘maybe the blackout is a good thing, you know, maybe it’ll remind people that electricity doesn’t fall from the sky’. i wanted to call him up and say, ‘well, sir, uh, electricity does occasionally fall from the sky in the form of lightning. in fact our good friend and patriarch ben franklin sort of discovered electricity by observing it falling from the sky.’
thanks
