there’s a book called:
‘what’s right with america’ that makes me laugh and laugh (it’s supposed to be funny).
in the book they suggest that our government institutions be renamed as follows:
the constitution renamed as the covenant (to give it a cool, indiana jones feel)
congress renamed as lordz of misrule (to give it a trendy, hip-hop, heavy metal sort of vibe)
the cabinet renamed as the companions (with power ranger sort of connotations)
air force one renamed as pokey joe (no on is alarmed when the prez boards pokey joe)
checks and balance system renamed as the ‘buddy system’ (so much friendlier)
it’s a very funny book.
