we just arrived in bordeaux, and i have to say that things seem quite calm here.
from what i’ve heard it seems that the riots are finally calming down, which is good.
i’ve had a lot of friends back home who’ve written to me and expressed their fears that i’m in a country that is being gripped by riots.
well, from what i can tell it does seem that things here in france are fairly calm, although the riots did tend to happen more in the suburbs and the outskirts of the big cities.
in any case, we’re here and we’re happy to be in france.
