“we do not negotiate with terrorists. we put them out of business,” said bush spokesman scott mcclellan.
uh, well, um, if that’s the case then why is osama bin laden sending videotaped messages to al-jazeera 4 1/2 years after september 11th?
or is it like when stores say ‘going out of business’ but they don’t really mean it?
you know, they scatter newspapers on the ground to make it look like they’re going out of business but it’s really just a ploy to get customers to come in and buy camcorders and watches.
is that the ‘out of business’ that scott mcclellan is referring to?
cos the terrorists don’t seem to be ‘out of business’. they seem to be doing disturbingly well, based on the number of global terrorist attacks happening on an almost weekly basis.
or is it like doublespeak in 1984? maybe by ‘out of business’ scott mcclellan(aka-a liar)means ‘doing disturbingly well’?
the bush administration, i mean, oi vey, does anyone take them seriously at this point?
they’re like a washed up actor doing an interview on some cable access program proclaiming that ‘this is their comeback’, and they’re ‘doing the best work of their career’.
even the conservatives don’t really take the bushies seriously anymore.
most conservatives seem to be of the ‘let’s make the best out of a bad situation’ attitude when it comes to the bushies. the mid-term elections are going to be a rout, and although the dems won’t gain a majority in the house or senate the republicans(based on katrina, the war, the indictments, the scandals, the investigations, the lying, etc)are going to do very badly.
unless gw calls up his friends in saudi arabia and says, ‘can you give us another terrorist attack? maybe in mid-october? and can you get me a new pony, too? i’d really like a new pony. and maybe a jet-ski? those are fun.’
