the video competition…
the reason that it’s taking so long to pick a winner is because we received 1,500 entries, and a lot of the entries are very complicated, involving video, drawings, text, etc.
we want to give each entry the attention that it deserves, which is why this process has taken so long.
but we are close to announcing a winner, probably within the next couple of weeks.
one problem that we’ve been having is that some of the ideas are very, very good, but that in order to actually turn some of these ideas into videos would require astronomical budgets.
it’s a shame, because some of the best ideas would just be too expensive to produce, and thus have to be rejected.
but we will be announcing a winner soon.
