so i thought that i’d send an informative update journal entry.
well, self-involved and informative.
i.e-informative as relates to some upcoming releases.
by the way, i find it really hard to write and listen to music at the same time. i’m listening to goldfrapp’s ‘strict machine’. what an awesome song. but i have to turn it off cos when music is playing my little pea-brain can’t help but focus on the music and i do believe that the quality of my(admittedly poor)writing suffers.
there, now it’s quiet.
not that the writing’ll get any better.
but at least now a man can think some.
one of my favorite talking heads lines is ‘look over there, a dry ice factory, a good place to get some thinking done’.
ok, upcoming releases(minus the specific dates, cos for me to get specific dates i’d actually have to do some research. or make a phone call. and i’m feeling kind of lazy. so perhaps this ‘informative update’ might not actually be too informative. but it’s been fun so far. so i’ll keep going).
1-‘slipping away’ single. this will probably be released in late january or early february. and the remixes are great(i say this with authority, cos i didn’t actually do any of them).
2-voodoo child, as yet unnamed electronic cd. don’t know when this’ll be released.
springtime?
3-punk rock record(also unnamed). don’t know if this’ll ever be released. maybe i’ll just give out copies at teany if anyone’s interested.
4-greatest hits. this will most likely be released next october, and it will have all sorts of fun bonus things. like: new songs, bonus discs, a dvd with interesting things, and so on.
and it will be recorded on this new type of dvd that is edible.
yes, edible dvd’s. so you copy the dvd to your hard-drive and then eat the disc.
it’s some odd elvish technology.
sometimes i’m dismayed at just how much of a nerd i happen to be.
i almost wrote that ‘it’ll be made out of lambic bread’.
wasn’t that the elf bread in lotr?
ok, i did write it. i need to take a time-out and go sit in a corner and think about my actions.
and did i really just abbreviate ‘lord of the rings’?
i wish i had a good excuse. i blame growing up in connecticut.
yeah. that’s it. connecticut has been known to breed some good nerds.
and if ‘there are four lights’ means anything to you then you know of what i speak.
