a few weeks ago wayne from the flaming lips and i spent a day in downtown l.a making a music video for ‘the perfect life’ with a drunk king and roller skating ghosts and a whole bunch of other amazing oddballs.
it was a long and strange and fun day. then at the very end of the day i realized we had an acoustic guitar on the roof, so we gathered all of the extras together and recorded
this quick and spontaneous acoustic version of the song.
the ‘official’ video will follow shortly, but in the meantime i really like this unrehearsed acoustic sunset version of the song.
