Journal / Uh, excuse me?

reuters:
gore blasted bush for rejecting the kyoto global warming treaty that would require industrial nations to cut emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, and for voiding an agreement requiring auto makers to boost fuel efficiency.

the white house dismissed gore’s charges as political rhetoric, with spokesman scott stenzel saying democrats “”are recycling the same tired charges they used and lost with in the last election.””

uh, excuse me? now correct me if i’m wrong, but bush lost the last election. by 500,000 votes. and then he was handily installed in the white house by supreme court justices who had been nominated by his father.

al gore might not be our president, but he did win the last election. cos last time i checked, the person with the most votes is usually the winner. unless the participants are bound by an archaic system(electoral college)that’s overseen by a bunch of corrupt judges.

so watch where you step, pres. bush, cos claiming a ‘win’ in the last election is bound to piss a lot of people off. you lost the election, and it’s only by an anachronistic fluke that you happen to be our president.

and i’m sorry to be harping on bush and his cronies as of late. but just when i think they can’t get more annoying and/or dangerous, they do.

and isn’t george bush speaking at an ‘earth day’ celebration kind of like pat robertson speaking at a seminar on religious tolerance?

i’m in the uk.
i’m tired and cranky.
time for some sleep.
