Journal / To Avoid Confusion

ok, to avoid confusion:
the ‘thank you’ to people who log on to moby.com to tell me that they hate me was facetious.

the ‘thank you’ to people who go to ‘moby experiences’ to write about concert experiences was in earnest.
just wanted to make that clear,

thanks

Journal / To Avoid Confusion

so apparently there’s some confusion about who i’m supporting in the next presidential election.
last summer i expressed my support for john kerry and i have continued to support john kerry and will continue to support john kerry.
some of the other candidates have great qualities; al sharpton is a bright and articulate orator, wesley clark is very intelligent and principled, and so on.
but by my expressing appreciation for al sharpton’s skills as a communicator i’m not saying that i support his campaign, i just think that he’s a fantastic orator.
thanks,
moby

p.s-does anyone else find it odd that bush is announcing that they’re planning an offensive against al qaeda in the spring?
doesn’t that kind of compromise the element of surprise by letting al qaeda know when and where we’re going to be attacking them?

p.p.s-and if george bush genuinely wants to know what went wrong with the intelligence before the war(hint: the intelligence was fine, but, as we all know, the bush administration disregarded or manipulated intelligence that didn’t support their drive to wage war)why is he blocking a senate inquiry into the intelligence leading up to the war?
