i had been told that there were some scathing threads on the moby.com boards, but for some reason i haven’t been able to log onto the boards for the past 2 days, so i’m still unscathed.
is anyone else having trouble getting on to the boards?
as annoying as it is, in a perverse way i’m kind of bemused by the fact that the website is screwed up on the 2 days after it won an award. as i said earlier, i’m very sorry that i didn’t thank the moby.com board members in my acceptance speech. i was nervous. i don’t get nervous when performing live or doing interviews or etc. but i get incredibly nervous whenever i’m nominated for an award, and even moreso when i’ve actually happened to win an award. so, to reiterate, i apologize for not thanking the moby.com boardmembers. and as i said, it’s more your award than mine. in fact, we’re thinking of doing a time-share with the award, where the most active board members could send the award to each other and then post pictures of themselves playing with the award. it has a big spring. it’s fun to play with. you could even employ it as a makeshift catapult of sorts.
