music and politics aside… the hubble space telescope was recently given a fix-up (that’s a technical term, sorry if it’s kind of high-brow). i mean, the hubble’s always generated images that were amazing. and now post fix-up they’re even extra amazing in terms of clarity and depth. here’s an image that they released today.
this is kind of low-res, but the hi-res version is amazing, especially when looking at the tiny galaxies scattered throughout the image. ok, not ‘tiny galaxies’. rather ‘galaxies that look tiny in the image’. i’m sure the galaxies are gigantic. are there any little galaxies? i’m assuming not.
