the new boards will hopefully be up and running by the middle of next week.

at some point in the next day or so we will have the ubb boards back.
hooray! the only bad thing is that due to format incompatibilities (i know i spelled that word incorrectly) the posts from the current boards will disappear for a while.

we might archive the posts from these boards so that they could be read by whomever might be interested.
and some people might have to re-register. but as far as i know those are the only minor liabilities to having the ubb boards back.

thanks for your patience! now we can get rid of that annoying ‘this site currently under construction…’. but really, thanks for your patience.

it gives me great pleasure to announce that at some point in the next 14 days, or so, we will be returning to the ubb format for the boards.

these current boards really aren’t so bad, but ubb is clearly superior and i’m happy that we are returning to that format.

we are going to try to include the 80,000 posts that have been posted over the last 10 months, but this might take a while to sort out, and some might fall through the cracks for various reasons, and for that i apologize in advance.

but, as far as i know from what i’ve been told, we will be returning to the ubb format very shortly.

the truth is, i can’t even see the boards. for some reason my browser won’t let me look at them. 
which is probably a good thing, for if i were to look at the boards in a compromised state i might start to cry…sniff.

my poor little boards…ach, what’ve they done to ye? (bastardized scottish colloquialisms employed to connote pathos).
