just got back from l.a where, ironically, it was cold and grey. i still love l.a, but it’s odd and disconcerting that it’s warmer in l.a in january than it is in july.
thanks for coming to the diamondsnake show at dragonfly. i’m enclosing a picture of the diamondsnake rock men, the l.a members of ‘snakecharmer’, and some of our friends. i particularly like dave hill’s pleasant demeanor in the photo. speaking of dave hill, i went to see his show at the ucb on franklin last night and it was great. if you get the chance to see dave hill (either dave hill explosion or big in japan) please do so.
oh, i think there are still about 2 tickets left for the vatican commandos show at mercury lounge on july 17th, so hopefully see you there. have a nice weekend, and here’s the l.a diamondsnake picture. i’m the guy on the right who looks sort of like gollum.
