ok, where did the maple syrup smell come from?
last night all of manhattan was blanketed with a strong smell of maple syrup.
from where?
it was everywhere, and it was odd.
the local news reported it today, but with no conclusions as to what it was or where it came from.
i was up on the 35th floor of a building and it was strong up there.
it was everywhere.
was the government testing some new maple-scented nerve agent, designed to turn liberal manhattanites into crazed right-wingers?
now it’s gone. it smelled very very strongly of maple syrup and cookie dough, both of which are nice things.
but for the air over all of manhattan(which is a big place) to smell of maple syrup and cookie dough is disconcerting.
