a man was stopped at chicago’s o’hare airport when an employee screening passengers at a security check point detected something suspicious in his clothing. he surrendered two pocket knives, authorities said.
but his carry-on baggage which contained seven more knives, a stun gun and pepper spray moved through x-ray equipment without being detected, they said.
the chicago tribune reported on thursday that two employees of the airport security staff were dismissed after a surveillance tape caught them stealing the two knives confiscated from gurung.
