st. petersburg is one of the most beautiful cities that i’ve ever been to.

and los angeles (sorry, don’t hate me, but i really appreciate l.a).
but as i’m in st. petersburg i’ll write about st. petersburg. it’s amazing. i described it to a friend as being like paris in scandanavia as built by people from the netherlands who happened to be living in imperial russia. it’s a very special place.
and tomorrow i’m supposed to fly to paris.
which is also a spectacular city.
i mean, paris is probably the most spectacular city on the planet (at least as far as antiquities are concerned, manhattan would be the most spectacular contemporary city on the planet.
again, sorry if this upsets anyone, just my opinon), but everyone agrees that paris is spectacular. so i’m not exactly being novel by singing the praises of good old paris.
st. petersburg is a very special place.
