oh, i want to remind everyone that ‘southland tales’ is in theaters now.
personally i think it’s awesome, and i’m very proud to have written the music for it.

a few years ago i saw ‘donnie darko’ and was impressed by how unique and idiosyncratic and futuristic and well executed it was.

so when richard kelly (the ‘donnie darko’ director and writer) approached me to be involved in his new movie, ‘southland tales’, i jumped at the chance, as i was such a fan of ‘donnie darko’.

i normally say ‘no’ to most outside projects because i’m too busy working on my own things, but i have to say that i’m really thrilled and excited to be working on the music for richard kelly’s new film, ‘southland tales’.
