the word for the day is ‘soporific’.
‘somnambulist’ is good, too.
‘hypnogogic’ is ok, as well.
‘auto-didact’. i like that one.
‘auto da fe’ always gets the blood flowing.
and, of course, ‘pedantic’. where would we be without good, old fashioned pedantry?
‘podiatry’ vs. ‘pederastery’. explain.
can you tell that it’s summertime in nyc and i’m sleepy and i wish i had a tropical pool with mannattees on my roof?
but mannattees (when in doubt about double consonants just use them all) weigh too much and if i had mmannatteess on my roof then my building would collapse.
which would be bad. especially for the people on the lower floors.
one minute everything would be fine and then, boom, suddenly they’d be covered in bricks and mmaannaattteeess.
so it’s probably for the best that i don’t have a tropical pool on my roof.
it would also prevent me from getting much work done. for who could be a dilligent worker with a tropical pool on their roof?
and why am i sleepy? i had 7 hours of sleep last night. how can i be sleepy? so many unanswered question.
