thanks to everyone for coming to our show in stockholm and thanks to mtv for broadcasting and thanks to everyone for watching it on television in the comfort of their nice european homes.
presumptuous of me, actually, assuming that everyone watched it in the comfort of their nice european home. i hope that you have a nice european home.
if you don’t, i’m sorry, and i hope that at some point in the near future you find yourself living in a nice european home. this is, obviously, directed at people living in europe.
if you live in australia and you’re in no hurry to move, then i obviously don’t hope that you find yourself living in a nice european home.
ok, just substitute the place of your choosing in the ‘nice ______ home’.
ok?
i sure know how to belabor a point, huh.
i just chaperoned my band and crew on a very drunk ferry ride from denmark to germany.
they were drunk, i was sober (which isn’t always the case as you might have guessed).
and the tolerant and forgiving danes and germans didn’t throw them off of the ferry, for which i’m thankful. and for which my band and crew will be thankful for in the morning. for wouldn’t you rather wake up hungover in a bunk on a tour-bus than wake up dead in the cold water between denmark and germany? i sure would.
don’t you agree that a good sneeze is outstanding?i just sneezed. whoo-boy was it good.
wait, doth my cup runneth over?
do i have another sneeze waiting in the wings?
come here, little sneeze, come rock my world.
pause.
nope, no sneeze.
i’ll just have to content myself with my i-pod.come here little i-pod, come rock my world. tonight it will be…’closer’ by joy division. oh, maybe i shouldn’t, that’ll make me sad.
well, i’ll think of something.
goodnight,
