boy, this new sigur ros record is really nice.
kind of as if pink floyd had gotten their start in iceland with thom yorke as their lead singer.it’s a very nice record. although i don’t know what it’s called.

we’ve played 2 fairly small shows over the last 2 nights.
small shows are hell on my crew, but they do usually end up being fun. we can fool around a bit more when playing smaller shows. subtlety that might get lost in an arena is somehow preserved when playing venues that only hold a few thousand people.
and since when did i start referring to venues that ‘only’ hold a few thousand people as being ‘small’?
a few years ago a ‘small’ venue was one that helda few hundred people.
i smell hubris….
