scooter libby, cheney’s chief of staff, was indicted today and is facing penalties that could include 30 years in prison and millions of dollars in fines.
poor guy, cos he was only doing his bosses bidding(as i’m sure that we’ll find out eventually).
next up is rove, who is under continuing investigation.
the whole gang of them, cheney, rove, libby, bush, rumsfeld, etc, are just a big bunch of idiots(oops, have to qualify that…’lying idiots’, as we now know beyond a shadow of a doubt).
i want someone on the left, preferably a senator, to stand up and finally say what we all know to be the truth.
just imagine if senator clinton said something like:
‘president bush, vice president cheney, various republicans, you are all liars. since taking office you’ve basically done nothing but lie.
you lied about your knowledge of al qaeda’s plans before 9-11, you lied about weapons of mass destruction, you lied about medicare, you lied about your military records, and so on. your entire presidency has been one lie after another, although in our genteel world of legalese we have a nicer word for it, ‘perjury’. as elected officials you have perjured yourselves more times than anyone can count. and your lies have resulted in a war that has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths and $400 billion dollars in wasted taxpayer money. history will judge you all as the most inept, most arrogant, most deceitful people to ever work in the executive branch.’
if only someone on the left would stand up and say this.
