the scene in ‘going up river’ of a young john kerry in 1970 sitting on the lawn in washington d.c and hiding his head and crying over his experience in vietnam is one of the most powerful images that i’ve ever seen.
if you can watch this movie and not be moved to tears then…i don’t know.
