as you all know, george w. bush recently put forward an energy plan that is shortsighted, dangerous, and offensive. in an effort to let lawmakers know that we, the people, are opposed to this energy plan i have joined mike d from the beastie boys in a coalition called the new power project. i urge you to visit the saveourenvironment.org website in order to let your voices be heard regarding this issue. a sane energy plan should focus on conservation and the development of sustainable and renewable energy sources. george w. bush’s plan focusses on opening up pristine wilderness areas for oil drilling, and on building more nuclear power plants. please join us and register your opposition to his flawed energy plan.
