i have a request to make of everyone on these boards.
for the remainder of the week can we not write inflammatory things to one another? please?
and can you please write political things in the ‘political’ board?
some of us really need the emotional support that’s offered by the other people on the boards. if you could please respect that for the remainder of the week that would be really appreciated.
we will have the rest of our lives to dissect and discuss the events of this week. but for now can we not be analytical and just deal with each others emotional needs?
there are a lot of people on these boards, myself included, who have possibly lost friends, family, and loved ones. please respect us for a little while by not approaching this event as an intellectual exercise.
it may be an intellectual exercise for some of you, which is ok, but for many of us living near the world trade center it is too real right now to be dealt with analytically.
when we stop crying then maybe we can discuss this from a political or analytical perspective.
