i went to see rene risque last night.
i’ve seen them…30? 40? times, and i never get bored.
after the show we went to a german restaurant and drank german beer and ate german food.
ok, i didn’t actually eat the german food.
but everyone else did.
traditional german food isn’t exactly vegan friendly.
but everyone else seemd to enjoy the cheese and sausage.
i enjoyed the german beer.
and now i’m home working on music for ‘southland tales’.
it’s an amazing movie, and i’m excited to see how it’ll be received once it’s released.
i have a feeling that it will end up being quite divisive.
some people will love it and some people will loathe it.
which is how good art should be received.
i think that in it’s newness it’s a revolutionary film, but i have a feeling that a lot of people won’t get it.
which is great.
