i know that it’s foolish to get ones hopes up as far as developments in the middle-east are concerned, but 3 islamic terrorist organizations in palestine have declared a 3 month cease-fire with the israeli’s.
that is:
a-unprecedented, insofar as i know. and
b-remarkable.
can you imagine if at some point in the near future there actually was a viable palestinian state coupled with an end to internecine violence between the israeli’s and the palestinians? it’s hard to try and even imagine such a thing, but such a thing now seems potentially imaginable.
