random sort of releases related update.
well, random and un-scientific.
here goes.
the ‘jam for the ladies’ single is out, but only in some countries. i know it’s not out in north america or the uk or france. but i think it’s out in other european and antipodean countries. or maybe it hasn’t been released yet. i don’t know.
i do know that the video has a breakdancing monkey, so that’s good.
and the dvd will either come out in early october or late october. probably late october.
and it will have a lot of good stuff on it. all of the videos. lots of stupid comedy from the little idiot (aka-me). about a million remixes and outtakes and unreleased songs and demos and etc.
and hopefully some live footage.
and the voodoo child album will come out next year. but we’ll probably put out some vinyl only voodoo child singles this year.
but i don’t know when.
see, these are the sort of journal entries that my managers hate.
they like entries along the lines of: ‘record x will be released on april 21st and will contain song x with remixes by remixers x, etc.’
and when i have more details i’ll send you a more detailed update. but in the meantime we’ll just stumble along together in the dim light of partially known facts and figures, ok?
so, dvd in october (and it’s good, if i do say so myself. mr. fish comes back. but now he’s a star.
and you’ll meet a whole bunch of new people, like yevgeny the tjakijistani juice salesman and some bad student film from ‘eustace tuba’ who is an aspiring bad student filmmaker from somewhere in europe who also happens to be me. not to mention my nervous american’s guide to a tokyo hotel room. and lots more. but i’ve said too much already).
