so regarding the boardies-only show…
i think it would be really fun to do this.
the reason that i propose nyc is that:
1-myself and all of the band members live there, so logistically speaking it would be much more feasable to put together a small show in nyc as opposed to anywhere else(playing anywhere else would require lots of travel expenses for band/crew(15 of us) and hotel expenses and transport expense and rental fees and etc that would require us to play a larger venue than what i have in mind).
2-the majority of boardies live within a few hundred miles of nyc.
3-a lot of people seem to like visiting nyc in december/christmas-time.
i’m sorry that we can’t do ‘boardies-only’ shows everywhere. trust me, i’d love to, and in the future perhaps we’ll be able to.
a boardies-only show seems like it would be a nice thing to do, but if it ends up creating a lot of strife then we should probably not do it. but it’s something that i’d really like to do.
