ok, let’s recap:
the bush administration waged war on iraq because, supposedly:
a-there were weapons of mass destruction in iraq.
and
b-iraq was working with al qaeda.
now we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that iraq had no weapons of mass destruction and we know that iraq had no working relationship with al qaeda.
and we now know that the bush administration knew all along that iraq had no wmd’s and no relationship with iraq.
in other words, we now know that the bush administration did knowingly and repeatedly lie to congress, the american people, and the world, about the reasons for waging war in iraq.
in other words the bush administration have waged a war on false premises that has resulted in over 10,000 deaths, that has cost american taxpayers over $200 billion dollars, and that has alienated our allies and made america less safe.
in other words, bush and his administration are guilty of high treason and i do believe that it is the job of every american and every legislator to make sure that bush and his administration are held criminally responsible for lying to the american people and waging a war based on false premises.
