i was just writing to my tour manager and the heading for the email, which had to do with travel, was re: lax.
see, ‘lax’ is the code for the los angeles airport.
so i made a dumb little pun.
unintentionally and what not.
lots of ‘re’ related puns to be had.

re: buff(someone who works out too much and is rejected for being too macho)

etc.
i like how people use ‘x’ to mean just about anything.
it can be used for ‘christ’ in ‘x-mas’ or ‘international’ in ‘lax’.
for a while it was of course used as suburban rave slang for ecstasy.
it is a very versatile little letter.
i’m in l.a now, flying to australia tomorrow.
having flown to the antipodes many, many times i’ve now decided that whenever possible i’ll stop somewhere en route and break up the trip.
thus: l.a.
and real food daily, which i love.
i’m going to go run around the block so that i’ll be extra hungry for dinner.
