last night my friends kelly, lori, and stacey threw a quasi-surprise birthday for me(by ‘quasi-surprise’ i mean that the surprise was kind of blown when they told me about it beforehand).
it was a fantastic party(cut short by the building management who objected to some of the more, uh, raucous guests).

picture 1 is of the vegan birthday cake that looks like a scrabble board(as i age i become even more of a nerd).
and picture 2 is me with a wig and mustache(yes, mustache was real. it’s gone now, i’m sure you’ll be glad to know…)with my friend christine(who is only looking amorous. her boyfriend, jeffry was sitting next to us).
it was a belated bday party, as i wasn’t in or around nyc on my actual bday.
