ok, we just did our production rehearsal. and i’m almost afraid to write down just how good everything looks and sounds. wow.
i’m impressed with the people who are doing our production. the lights and sound are really, really impressive, if i do say so myself. the dance tent is so cool. but hopefully you’ll see for yourselves soon enough… and nelly furtado is going to come out and sing ‘southside’ with me. we rehearsed today and she is just the nicest, loveliest woman.
ok, enough glowing… but i’m excited. and a bit nervous, actually. normally i don’t get nervous about shows. but then again they’re usually not of this magnitude. on another note, seeing as we have cable-tv in the hotel i watched ‘that’s my bush’ last night and i thought it was outstanding. george w. took ecstasy and had a rave in the white house and wore butterfly wings. he even did a very convincing impression of someone on e.
at one point he was sitting there flexing his hands and grinding his jaw saying ‘i’m tweaking, i’m tweaking’. very funny stuff.
ok, shower and bed time.
