Journal / Poor Pickup

someone forwarded this review of ’18’ to me. it’s from amazon.com and it made me laugh, so i thought i’d share it with you.

“”this is by far the worst so-called artist (moby) i have ever seen. i just don’t understand why people give such positive reviews. those are the people who don’t know what music is at all. like rolling stone’s review described, there’s a person who doesn’t look or sound anything of music. however, since his music is nothing of music, it must be something. sadly, this is the whole deal of this “”artist”” and album.
his voice is so less than ordinary that every song in this album has to be mingled deeply in the weirdo techno music. i just couldn’t understand why people even pay attention to this “”artist”” after all. the matter of fact is, when you see great artists like aerosmith, u2, and creed all around you like so many rolls royce, it might be a change to take a peep at a poor, distorted pickup truck.
eminem criticize this “”artist”” in a hush way in his brand new album. while i feel its deserving for this artist to be described by those cursing lyrics, one thing should be clear, the attack didn’t come out of nowhere.
why didn’t u2 or aerosmith come under such attacks? the answer is, they are good.””

hahahah.
i guess i’m just a poor, distorted pickup truck.
ah well. could be worse.
