i just finished performing at king tut’s here in glasgow.
i have to say that it was great to be playing live again
after months and months of just being holed up in
a studio(and/or hotel room).
thanks to the hosts of tonights show, and thanks
to the people who came out on this cold, rainy
glaswegian night!
this will most likely be the smallest show that
we do on the whole tour(king tut’s holds
about 300 people), and the fact that it was
so small afforded us(the band, not ‘us’ in the
collective royal sense)the opportunity to
try a bunch of things that otherwise we wouldn’t
be able to do(acoustic ‘everytime you touch me’, for
example).
ok, time to drive to london for the megastore performance
and the record release show at the garage(another
small release party venue, but not as tiny as king tuts).
