couple o’ things:
1-happy halloween. not much evidence of halloween in munich. i’m sure it’s there, but i haven’t seen it. although some of the bridges and gargoyles were looking quite goth. maybe it’s understatedhalloween. no costumes. just scary gargoyles.
2-we drove from nice to munich yesterday. damn. my goodness. what a drive. did i mention this? i told all my friends. did i tell you?
no? yes? if yes, let me repeat: it was just amazing. i’ll post some pictures. driving between giant mountains and hills. whoo-boy. i wanna do it again. slower.
3-it’s 5 a.m in munich so i’m going to go and tuck myself in between the sheets and the annoying blanket that is too small to cover my feet. what do very tall people do with small german blankets? germany is a very nice place, but the pillows and blankets are oftentimes sub-par. sorry germany, but it’s true. get some new pillows and blankets, ok?
