finding vegetarian restaurants in europe isn’t the easiest thing in the world.
finding vegan restaurants in europe is even harder.
finding vegetarian restaurants in the south of europe is very difficult.
finding vegan restaurants in the south of europe is nigh on impossible (at least based on my experiences).
so imagine my surprise upon finding, in lisbon, one of the best vegan restaurants to which i’ve ever been.
normally i don’t schill for things on moby.com, but this restaurant is so great that i feel the need to sing it’s praises.
it’s called ‘oriente’ (or ‘oriente chiado’, i can’t tell…) and it’s fantastic.
a vegan buffet and the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is wonderful and we went and had dinner and we all had 2 or 3 plates of food and now the hotel is full of happy, fat people like me.
i’m even going to give the address, in case you’re ever in lisbon and looking for vegan food.
