we at moby-online are a little bit lax as of late…
so, here’s a little bit of news.
tonight i’m speaking as part of a panel at cooper-union here in nyc.
the panel is addressing the role of culture and media in light of the post-september 11th cultural climate. the panel consists of ross bleckner, susan sarandon, wim wenders, larry fink, dianne von furstenberg, and myself. it’s being moderated by spalding gray.
personally i plan to keep my big mouth shut cos i’ll certainly be intimidated by so many cultural heavyweights. arthur miller had originally been scheduled to be involved, but he had to cancel.
which is probably a good thing, cos if i were sitting next to arthur miller i would probably pee my pants out of nervousness.
