leaving paris now…i think.
perhaps the strike will keep us here.
strikes happen in paris with fairly consistent regularity, and as i’m not french i’m going to refrain from having too strong of an opinion on these strikes.
and i’ll be back in paris next wednesday(unless there are any new strikes) to play a ‘hotel’ release party at la cigalle.
we’re playing 4 very small european ‘hotel’ release parties:
at king tut’s in glasgow, the garage in london, la cigalle in paris, and at the universal hall in berlin.
i love the fact that a show at a place like ‘la cigalle’ in paris is now considered a ‘very small’ show for me.
i’ve said it before, but even a few years ago la cigalle would’ve been much too large of a venue for a little runt like me to perform in.
i’ll always remember the arapaho…tiny punk rock venue in paris where we played in 1996 and 50 people came.
oh, we’re going to be launching a new version of moby.com.
i think that it looks very nice, so i’m excited.
it’ll have all of the same functionality, but with a different look and architecture.
ok, time to go fly(i hope).
