not much to report.
i’m just travelling around being a narcissist and talking about myself to nice journalists(and, the truth be told, the occasionally not-so-nice journalist. eh, it’s not so bad).
we did top of the pops tonight and new order were on, as well.
and new order were on the 2nd time that i did top of the pops, in 1993.
and they were also on when i did top of the pops one time in 2000, i think.
and, as many of you know, i love new order, and i consider it one of my career highlights to have played a joy division song with them in california(this recording appears on the fantastic ’24 hour party people’ soundtrack).
now it’s late. i’d write more but i’m tired and my spartan hotel bed is calling to me.
