ok, so here’s my question(or questions)about gay marriage…
if gay marriage were made constitutionally illegal what would happen in the following situation:
john and alice get married, heterosexual and legal.
alice gets a sex change and becomes, technically, a man, and john and alice(who is now a man)stay married. would they be illegally married?
then what if john got a sex change and became a woman.
would they then be legally married again?
and then what if alice got another sex change and went back to being a woman, would they no longer be legally married?
and what about people with both or no gender?
there are people born with both male and female gender, would they be prevented from ever getting married?
what if 2 people are married, john and alice, and john is kidnapped and given a sex-change operation against his will. would he and alice be automatically un-married until he regained his original gender?
just some interesting questions.
