i saw mary j. blige sing tonight, and i have to admit that up until this evening i had never been a huge fan of her or her work.
but tonight she sang the janis joplin song ‘piece of my heart’ and it was phenomenal.
i mean, it was really, really phenomenal.
it was for a tv show, and i don’t know how well it will come across on the t.v, but in person it was great.
are they making(or have they made)the janis joplin movie?

‘me and bobby mcgee’ is one of my favorite songs of all time, and even though kris kristofferson wrote it i still believe that janis joplin’s version is the best one.
