Journal / My Day Looks Good

there is a big pond near my hotel, and in this big pond there are big koi.
and we all know what that means…that means that there are screamapillars nearby.
so i will keep this update brief because i have to go out and find a screamapillar.
and if for some reason i can’t find a screamapillar at least i will have had the opportunity to watch the giant koi.

could someone explain to me why giant koi like to play follow the leader?
one koi swims in one direction and all of the other koi follow. from an evolutionary perspective i do not understand this behavior.
although maybe they’ve had a pretty easy time, evolutionarily speaking, so that they can stick together and not have to worry about being eaten or starving to death. or maybe when they’re under attack they form a circle like a wagon train and defend themselves from intruders while giving each other high-5’s. that would be something to see. maybe i’ll buy a rubber monster suit and pretend to be an intruder to see if i can get them to form a circle to defend themselves.

my morning looks good already: giant koi, rubber monster suit, screamapillar, hotel room green tea. and i’m playing a song on j-wave radio early.
acoustic.
that’s always interesting.
