just finished this most recent european promo/concert tour.
i consider myself to be exceedingly lucky in that i’m a musician who likes his record company(or companies).
the amazing thing about the people at mute and v2 and virgin and emi is that they really like music.
a lot of people in the music business are quite mercenary and not all that interested in music, but my dealings with the people at mute and v2 and virgin and emi have been fantastic.
so, thank you to everybody who has been working so hard on ‘hotel’ for these last few months, and hopefully i’ll see you all soon.
