i really like queens of the stone age.
i’m listening to them right now. what a good rock record.
now for some music news:
this autumn/winter i’ll be releasing 2 things.
these things are:
1-the ’18’ dvd, which will contain all of the videos and some profoundly stupid comedy bits. my favorite so far is ‘yevgeny the juice guy’. it will also have a section wherein i write a song from scratch and document the whole process, as self-involved as that might sound…
and:
2-a new voodoo child cd. but this voodoo child cd will be a dance record, whereas the last voodoo child cd was kind of a melodic/atmospheric record. this voodoo child cd has some melodic/atmospheric elements, but it’s basically a straightforward electronic dance record. with some nice old-skool elements, cos i’m a sentimentalist at heart.
it doesn’t, at present, have a title or a finished track listing. i might call it ‘baby monkey’, cos i really like ‘baby monkey’ as a title for a cd.
who knows.
i don’t have exact release dates for either of these things, but at present it looks as if they’ll be released sometime mid-autumn or early winter.
but that could change.
