a question:

france, germany, russia, north korea…would it be safeto say that their objections to bush’s war on iraq arebased upon their desire to get something from the u.s? some trade benefits? or some geo-political bonus points? it’s safe to say that big countries don’t operate on ethical principles. so again it’s safe to say that these countries are opposing the u.s juggernaut because, in a macchiavelianway, they hope to benefit somehow.

eh, it’s not too farfetched.

maybe i’m wrong. but given historical (recent and not) context it kind of makes sense. truth be told, i have hunches. educated hunches. but no idea, really.

maybe the world is run by enlightened aristocrats, with no vestedinterest apart from the betterment of mankind. and maybe pigs have these flippers that can turn motor oil intodiamonds just by sheer force of will.

ok, goodnight.
