as the world warms up it will be interesting to see how storms are affected.
warmer oceans will most likely spawn mega-storms of a type that we’ve never experienced before. storms with wind speeds of 200-300 miles per hour or more. and with elevated sea levels, you could have tidal surges that completely wipe out low lying coastal areas.
so, i wouldn’t buy waterfront property anytime soon if i were you.
