i was just reading a book about marcel duchamp and i was reminded of the reasons why i like him so much.
do you know marcel duchamp?
i’m sure i’ve written about him before, but if i haven’t, well, look, i’m writing about him now. he was one of the progenitors(and forgive me if i’ve misused the word ‘progenitor’. did i misuse it? eh, who knows)of the dadaist and the surrealist movement and he was a great artist and he was funny.
and he declared greenwich village it’s own country.
and i’ve probably written about him before.
so i’m probably being redundant.
and he was a chess wizard.
and it’s getting late so i should go to sleep.
actually it’s not that late, but i had a long weekend so i’m feeling wrecked.
